In addition, you are required to have a bank account inorder to be able to receive commission payments from Aliexpress. Aliexpress only pay commissions through bank transfers.
Once you are through the registration process, you can go ahead and create your own tracking number under the settings tab. You are allowed to create upto a maximum of 50 tracking numbers.
If you just want to display banners on your website, then you can access the offers on “Promotional” under the “Ad Center”. Just select the products you wants to promote, copy the code and paste it on your website wherever you want it to appear.
On the other hand, if you want to do it in big scale by having a website that is entirely for Aliexpress products then you will need to apply for an API Key.
Go to Ad Center – API settings and apply for one. A message will be displayed informing you will receive it within 3-5 business working days.
In my case, I already have an API Key since I am an Aliexpress affiliate. It can take in between 3-5 days for your API to be approved. Once approved, you are now ready to get started by sending request to Aliexpress.
How to Import Products Using Aliplugin
If you want to go big scale, then you will need a plugin. This is where the Aliplugin comes in. Aliplugin is an Aliexpress Affiliate Plugin that allow you to automatically import products from Aliexpress.
Basically, you import products straight from your WordPress dashboard and list them on your store. Here is a screen shot of how the Aliplugin works.
On the configuration part, you insert your API or APP Key, which you will obtain from Aliexpress, you then set the language of your site. You can also set the currency and when you want your site to update.
Once you have selected the required information on the configuration part, the next step is to import products from Aliexpress. There are three different ways to import, you can use Bulk option, Selective or By the Product Number.
If you choose Selective, you will be able to select what to list on your site. On the other hand, Bulk option allow you to import products without having to check what you are importing.
Since the Selective option allow you to see what you are importing and decides what you really want. This method is recommended for those who would like to import products with a certain ratings or certain volume.
Your imported products will automatically be added to different categories similar to the ones found on Aliexpress. You can also create and assign categories to them.
The “Review option” allow you to add customers’ reviews to your store. This is very important since it creates some trust and allow your potential buyers to see reviews to help them in making their decision.

Aliexpress offers a great opportunity for affiliates who would like to earn money promoting products listed on their website. However, since how fast an affiliate gets paid depends on how long it takes for a customer to confirm he or she has indeed received a product or 60 days when the system automatically closes a transcation, sometimes it can take a little bit longer to get paid compared to other affiliate programs like Amazon.
